J. Todd Horton

Todd was born and raised in Kershaw County and is a graduate of North Central High School. He received a B.A. in Religion and Philosophy from Charleston Southern University in Charleston, S.C. and a Master of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He was a senior pastor for 36 years before retiring from Elloree First Baptist Church, Elloree, S.C. in 2022. He began as an apprentice at Powers Funeral Home in December of 2022.

He is married to Pam Horton, and they have 2 sons, Tyler and Hunter.
